Our first year abroad will be spent tramping a distance of almost 2,000 miles across both islands of New Zealand. We will then "jump" over to Australia for a few weeks to climb the highest mountain on that continent, as well as, visit the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru(Ayer's Rock). After our whirlwind tour of Oz we will be heading to the Philippines for some much needed beach time. We will more than likely spend about 6 months in the islands before heading to Nepal to round out our year with a month+ long trek to Everst Base Camp.
We will post a link to our proposed itinerary so everyone can follow along and know where we are going next. If you have any suggestions of cool places to go or things to see in our upcoming areas don't hesitate to leave your suggestions here. If anyone would like to meet us while we are out please do! I am sure we will be homesick out there and would love to be the catalyst for some of you to take an unforgetable trip.
